I'm Joel Watson, a 24 year old multidisciplinary 3D artist and creative director based in Toronto, creating cinematic worlds at the intersection of sport, culture, and entertainment.

Working under the alias WatyOriginal,

I design immersive visual experiences that transform stories into worlds. Whether that's reimagining the NBA Playoffs as floating islands in the sky, building monuments to sporting history, or bringing iconic moments in music and culture to life, my work blends world-building, motion design, and cinematic storytelling to create visuals that feel larger than life.

Over the years, I've collaborated with more than 20 global brands and organizations—including ESPN, Nike, the Olympics, and professional sports franchises across the NBA and NFL to craft experiences that captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression.
